Five factors that RHAFB consider when determining funding:
- Type of Program
- Academic/Educational Programs:
- Activities that allow for learning experiences and that provide an exchange for the purpose of skill development, expansion of thinking,and/or the acquiring of new information. Alternatively, programs which promote interaction between residents and collaborative scholars, tutors, advisors, or counselors from various academic departments.
- Cultural:
- Programs which develop an appreciation for diversity in the areas of religious political, racial, ethnic, economic, or sexual orientation.
- Social/Recreational Programs:
- Any activity of a vocational, leisure, or recreational nature that promotes interaction among individuals and offers a viable alternative to alcohol related activities might be considered in this category. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night activities are a primary target date.
